Christopher CJ Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in south central Los Angles moments after leaving a party. Biggie as he was sometimes known as was arguably the greatest rapper to ever walk this earth...certainly one of the most influencial rappers of all time. Unfortuantly he was murderd at the tender age of 24 jus as he about to realse his seconds album. Had he not been killed who knows what he would have went on to accomplish...i personally belive that had he not died...he would have ended up being the undisputed greatest rapper of all time. In tribute here are a couple of my fave big tracks. Im out peace and one love.

If Biggie was arguably the greatest rapper of all time...then Micheal is the greatest MUSICIAN of all time...IMHO.

Got to say if Lil B is the hardest working rapper right now...then Rosa Acosta is by far the hardest working video girl in the game right now. She seems to be in every other video out right now...and is starting to get named credits as well. For a video girl that is alot. To be fair I can understand though...I mean with my mad crush on her...every vid she's in I watch...more than once. So the marketing really does work...hopefully I can get my money up and she can be in one of mine soon...;).

Anouther man who's making waves in the industry IS Wiz Khalifa...jumping on everything and anything really creating a buzz for his album. This joint though is actually a Cee-Lo Green track from his album. And all though we dont see any of them in the video he really steals the show. Green does his thing as well...which seems to be singin these days...and we get a real good glimpse of what seems to be New York at night. Real cool.

Alot of hip-hop purist arent gonna like this...though ive been cheering Based God on since I heard about him...he impressed me...hopefully now he might start getting the respect he deserves. Travis Barker been giving love to the hip-hop community for a little while now...from remixing hip-hop tracks like Souljah Boy's Superman track...to playing the drumbs on Lil Wayne and Games albums. So its clear to see he is a hip-hop head at heart...now he shows his true colors and is realesing an album...you may have already heard Give the drummer some with Wayne...Swizz Beats etc...well this is anouther track from that album...its If You Want To...featuring Lupe and Pharrell...got to say tho Lupe goes in. All in all good song.

*NEWS* Lupe Fiasco to Push 250K in the first week...

Well it seams Lupe really has got a loyal fan base...if this is true maybe there is still hope for hip-hop. I mean when you got people like Souljah Boy who admittedly isnt as good as Lupe...has a lot more hits and is a lot 'bigger' doin 13k while somone like Lupe who dinaounnced his own album doing quarter of a mill is a very good look. And tho the album is trash...im still real happy for him. Lets hope noe that Atlantic (seeing as he will outsell T.I.)...will give him alot more freedom on his next album...and we will finally see a truly classic Lupe album.

Charlie Sheen has on Thursday filled a $100 million lawsuit against Warner Brother studio's for sacking from the show Two and A Half Men. He filled it on behalf of the cast and crews. Got to say that Im really fasinated by the whole Charlie Sheen saga...I would probably go as far as saying that im a fan. Yes he may seem crazy...yes me 'may' be drug addict...but he is certainly very smart...doesnt give a fuck...and ready to fight for what he belives in. That alone makes him an icon and insperation in my eyes...so i say GO CHARLIE!!!

Yesterday was the 14 anneversary of The Notorious B.I.G.s death...anyone who knows me knows Im a massive fan of biggie. IMO had he not died he would have probably ended up as the greatest of all time. Im still gonna drop exclusives on you...as usual...got plenty to drop.

From a 'hasbeen' to the man of the moment...Wiz's star jus keeps growing. He is featured on the Rolling Stone cover... rocking the same yellow streak he had in the Roll Up video. This for any hip-hop artist is a major achivement...lets hope he doesnt fold to the pressure and realeses a solid album. Looking forward to this Rolling Papers...gonna buy an ounce jus to smoke to it.

*NEWS* Lupe springs a leak...

Well start off with probably the biggest story for hip-hop purists...Lupe Fiasco Lasers leaked...and well its not what everyone expected. It has seen some harsh critisism...some even goin as far to say its garbage. Personally I wouldnt say its bad...but its certainly a far cry from his last two albums. He later took to tweeter to say that the critisism was crushing for him...he even went as far as goin he will leave his label and move to Africa. The story behind Lasers is a long winded one so I wont bore you with it...tho I will say Lupe may not be tottally at fault for it....Atlantic (his label) played a major part in its production...though as an artist he must bear some responsibilty. Lets hope lessons have been learned from both paries and his next offering...food and liqour 2??...wont be such a disapointment.
